This fabulous head dress is the feature piece for The Juniper Tree collection.
Designed as a piece of couture jewellery the head dress tells part of the story from the Brothers Grimm fairy tale with the same name.
The little bird, who was once a young boy, sits in the juniper tree with a gold chain in his mouth as a gift for his father.
The birds wings where once part of a necklace. They have been formed and shaped to the birds body shape. The bird is made from silver plated wire and the tree is made from base metals wrapped in copper. The berry’s are purple & pink crystals and obsidian snowflake beads.
The piece sits off centre with the bird to one side of the head. The band sits comfortably across the head and should be held securely in place with hairpins.
